A Catholic Priest is murdered and his twin brother takes leave from the seculuded monastery on a remote foreign hillside where he is a monk to find out why he was killed.

 

Teaming up with a young woman who is a reporter for the local newspaper, he digs deeper into the local community where his brother lived and uncovers a rotten world of greed and corruption.  He also discovers his brother was exploiting his role as a Priest to exploit and blackmail members of his congregation.

 

As his investigations become more and more dangerous, he is forced to fall back on the skills he vowed never to use again - learned as a member of the SAS.

 

As he gets closer to finding out who was behind his brother's murder, he walks into a trap laid by the powerful forces who seem to have the town under their control. It seems there is no way he can save himself...
